Rehabilitation Center “Vilina Vlas” Višegrad

Višegrad Spa is a balneoclimatic health resort where the direct and indirect effects of water and air provide excellent conditions for all forms of rehabilitation and recreation. It is located in a dense pine forest at an altitude of 460m with a moderately continental climate.

Medical programs are based on the application of natural healing thermal mineral water combined with modern physical medicine and rehabilitation methods.

The facility offers 140 beds distributed across single, double, and triple rooms and apartments. Each room and apartment has a private bathroom, terrace, cable TV, wireless internet, and a telephone. Guests have access to a restaurant with a capacity for 350 guests, meeting all hospitality standards. The hotel also includes two summer gardens, an aperitif bar, an elevator, a shop, a conference room, and a parking area under video surveillance. Food enthusiasts can enjoy the “Stara banja” restaurant, offering traditional dishes.

The indoor pool measures 17m x 12.7m, with a depth ranging from 1.6m to 2.0m, filled with thermal mineral water at a temperature of 30–33°C. Besides the pool, thermal mineral water is used for hydromassage and pearl baths, general and partial hydro-galvanic baths, and hydrokinetic therapy programs. A special feature of the spa is the Turkish baths, Donja Kadijina Spa and Gornja Sokolovića Spa, built in 1575.

In addition to water as the primary therapeutic agent, the therapy program includes other procedures such as various modalities of electrotherapy, ultrasound, magnetotherapy, paraffin wraps, phototherapy, occupational therapy and manual massage. An integral part of the therapeutic process includes individual and group kinesiotherapy as well as a trim room.
